Ear on the Edge of the Eye extends the real-time AI generative system first introduced in Liminal, transforming spatial movement into a musical act. Centered around Winter’s tornado-inspired sculpture, the installation invites audiences to step inside an evolving sonic field where music is continuously born from their presence and motion.
As the audience moves through space, the AI system interprets their position to generate two distinct musical environments: the outer region evokes the spectral turbulence of a storm, while the central area unfolds into a state of calm and balance—the stillness within motion.
Through this immersive interaction,Ear on the Edge of the Eye allows even non-specialist listeners to experience the creative emergence of sound itself, turning listening into a tangible act of co-creation between human, space, and machine.
